Foot Odor Remedies
A very embarrassing problem that millions of people have to deal with on a daily basis is foot odor. “Smelly, stinky” - not what you want to hear even if you are a top class athlete! Foot odor remedies are often seen in magazines and on television commercials and for a person struggling with this condition, they are likely to try anything that comes along that promises relief. However, not all remedies are equal and before a person goes out and spends too much money on costly cures, there are things they can try at home for little or no money.
Cures
People who commonly complain about having a problem with odors emanating from their feet often don’t realize there may be a simple solution. One of the easiest and most effective foot odor remedies is to give up going barefoot in shoes in favor of wearing cotton socks. A good portion of the problem with foot odor stems from sweat. If there is nothing there to absorb the sweat, it will sink into the fabric of the shoe which can cause unappealing odors. Wearing a pair of white cotton socks inside shoes is one of the best foot odor remedies. So you can eliminate with a little effort.
Another inexpensive approach that many people try is insoles in their shoes. These insoles are often sold in footwear departments or drug stores. What makes this one of the best foot odor remedies is that the insoles are readily available and also they not only absorb the unpleasant odors but they emit a nice fragrance. For someone who has struggled with foot odors for sometime this can make a world of difference in their confidence level.
Antiperspirant is another great product that can be used to help with this problem. Most people wouldn’t even think of using antiperspirant to quell foot odor but it actually works well. In order to get the best results from these types of foot odor remedies it’s important that the feet be very clean. Using an antibacterial soap all over the foot, including between the toes is a good first step. After thoroughly drying the feet spray them with antiperspirant before venturing out. Consider that using antiperspirants as foot odor remedies should not be attempted if you are experiencing any cracks in your heels or if your feet are too dry.
If the problem is persistent even though you’ve tried different techniques it may be time to seek professional help. In some people an imbalance of nutrients can cause problems with odor. If this is indeed the problem, the foot odor remedies a professional may prescribe can include supplements in the form of additional vitamins and minerals to kill the fungus.
Common Cold
How many times do we hear ….
“The human race has achieved many wonderful things. We have landed men on the Moon, almost totally eradicated polio and leprosy and invented the World Wide Web. However, my ardent wish is that someone could come up with a cure for the common cold. I am very susceptible to colds and influenza and how I suffer!
My symptoms always follow the same pattern. I get a sore, dry throat, then a headache and aching joints. When the cold starts to come out with sneezing and watery eyes, I actually begin to feel better. It’s the days leading up to the full blown cold that make me feel awful. Of course, then I’m stuffed up and don’t sleep very well.
Scientists have been trying for a cure for many years. Volunteers are paid to take part in research studies where different medications and placebos are given. No luck so far, so we continue to drink hot lemon and rub ointment on our chests.
Businesses lose lots of workdays each year to the common cold. Even when sufferers manage to struggle into the office, all they achieve is to spread their germs around. Every office has a martyr. You know the type. They think that they are indispensable and that their sacrifice will ingratiate them with the boss. The sound of coughing rises from their desk, behind an ever growing pile of tissues. They insist they are fine as they sneeze all over your keyboard.
Why can’t we find a cure?
It’s only a germ and we have a vaccination for most germs these days. Scientists have mastered the complex world of biological warfare but not this. It is said that the only germ free place is in outer space, so when they finally colonize another planet, I’ll be there. The absence of supermarkets and cinemas will be compensated for by the removal of the common cold from my life. It’s a big part of the winter blues but I somehow manage to catch colds in the summertime too. Those bouts can be worse, when I’m trying to breathe in the summer heat.
I can actually pinpoint the exact moment that I catch the germ. I can feel the changes in my body, a subtle change in body temperature and a certain tingling. If I believed in re-incarnation, I would want to come back as a hedgehog or some other animal that hibernates in the winter. Dozing in a warm hole underground until the warmth of the sun stirs me again sounds good to me. In the meantime, I’ll endure the common cold and keep taking the tablets. And washing with soap to get rid of the germs!!”
Resources: There is a plenty of additional information on the internet about treatment of the flu virus but there is no cure! You can prevent, you can reduce the effects with various remedies but no medical centre can cure you. The fact is there is no cure yet!
Cause of erectile dysfunction
It is not something many men want to talk about with anyone, but they should find out some of the cause of erectile dysfunction with their doctors if they are having impotence problems. Though many males think this means that they are losing some of their manhood, it is usually more of a medical issue, or even a mental block that they can’t seem to get around even if there is a treatment! I can understand, even being a women, why something like this would be devastating, even if it is not something that is life threatening. There is something about losing a part of yourself, even if it is something that many leave behind as they age anyway.
You may find that your cause of erectile dysfunction is something that can be cleared up medically, though this is not always the case. There are times when you just have to accept that your body is not working as well as it use to be. There are many different things out there now that you can take to try to get some help with this situation. You may not know why it is happening, but your doctor can help you find a way around it if that is what you want.
Erectile Dysfunction
Remember that there is not always just one cause of erectile dysfunction, and sometimes there are many. Though there are medical reasons why this happens, there are times when a man is under so much stress, and is holding so much in that he is overwhelmed. This can be something that shows up in the body in many ways, and this is just one of them. If your doctor says that your cause of erectile dysfunction is something that is not physical, you may have to look at the rest of your life to figure out what is going on.
If your doctor cannot find your cause of erectile dysfunction, you have the choice to go see another doctor. Though many might say this is not a serious medical condition, it certainly can mess with a persons life for a long time to come. Some doctors take it more seriously than others, and you may find that some will work harder to find out what is going on with you. Never hesitate to ask for a second opinion for any medical condition you might have if you aren’t happy with what you are hearing. There are plenty of resources on the Internet and treatments / medications are widely available. Don’t let it affect your health and Sex life.
