You have completed! You have opted for the lap band surgery following significant planning lasting months or even years and considering all the information at hand. It feels wonderful while taking the first step to change something in your life from bad to good. That being said, the lap band alone is not going to get you to your goal weight. If you wish to succeed, you will need to take control of regular exercising and making the necessary changes in your food habits. Here are a couple things to think about when you decide to make the trip from flab to fab.
1 IT’S NOT ABOUT THE FOOD,
Fat doesn’t come from not eating. People gain weight when they eat food that isn’t healthy. Eating things in excessive quantities is more relevant here than eating specific items that shouldn’t be eaten. Our 1st priority even before the lap band surgery should be to sit down and convince ourselves that we ARE going to change our eating habits in order to achieve what we set out to do in the 1st place. What’s that? To reduce Fats.
Two. We all need to have experience, if you have a lap band or not.

It is absolutely true that most of us do not like exercising. Overweight people tend to not enjoy exercise, but when opting for the lap-band procedure you might as well go the extra mile (pun intended!). Start slowly, start with something you really enjoy doing. Walking is the best start off exercise I know of. It is both easy to use and inexpensive. By wearing a good pair of shoes and with a positive outlook you can walk off more than pounds. If you are interested in dancing, go ahead and try it. You should dance a little bit everyday to some of your favorite dance music. As you begin to feel stronger and more energy, plus in resistance training to your routine. Begin doing a little bit of what you like to do each day. Make it habit and once you do, you’ll miss it when you have to skip a day.

3. DON’T FORGET THAT, ATTITUDE IS PART OF THE SOLUTION!
we know to eat healthy foods that are good for us, in moderation and we know to exercise a little everyday the glue that’s going to hold it all together is called “attitude.” We must remember that our attitude and feelings about something play a major role in our success over the long-term. Rewards are key to getting results. Every morning when you get in front of your mirror and start your morning routine, tell yourself that this day you will keep your promise to yourself and do all the things you know you need to do in order to achieve your weight loss goal. Realize that even though you have a lap band it’s ultimately u and your attitude that goings to help it do it’s job. Nobody else, just you and you can do it.
Four- CREATE A SUPPORT SYSTEM.
Even if you have or don’t have a lap band, what really matters if friends and family. Placing positive people in our lives will help us better achieve our goals. It’s always nice to be with people that are fun and you like being with. The further you be in motion the extra you drop and when friends ask to go, just go. Let your friends and family know exactly what you hope to achieve and enlist their support. There will be those who will make an attempt to sabotage you and the moment you realize who are they, you should shy away from them till you think that you can refuse them for their poor eating habits.
Remember, you’re doing all these things for yourself. Deciding to get the lap band means that you will do everything in your power to change your body, eating habits, workout routine, attitude and negative friendships. All things need to work together for the common good. This is your time, so dedicate time to yourself to ensure your success and maybe one day you can help someone else reach success too. Enjoy the new body you have got for yourself.
