Following the latest diet trend
Posted by GuestW on Jul 13, 2009 in Weight Loss • No commentsDoes the old proverb spring to mind: “no pain no gain”!” And boy isn’t weight loss sometimes painful!
Don’t be like the deluded masses, simply scenting out the latest dieting trend…
We jump onto the dieting treadmill only to be thrown off again with our self image depleted and our energy drained, only to get back on the same treadmill and little way down the road, only to fail once again!
The fact is that many people who are only slightly overweight still desire to become slim and trim and lose weight and improve their health. They tend to find the latest dieting trend and go along with it. Commit yourself to further research before you embark on the next diet trend. There’s no such thing as too much information. Don’t forget that what is at stake is your health, your well-being and your state of mind and the settings are important and vital.
Make it your business not to follow the latest dieting trend but to step out in a tried and tested fashion.
The trouble with a dieting trend is that it is often based on on some celebrity or other high-profile dieter spouting off the benefits of such and such a diet. Of course this may not be the ideal diet for you.
Celebrities aren’t in it for nothing can and in a backing a dieting trend then ask yourself why. The trouble is that most of these healthy diets which just follow to a latest trend taste absolutely awful. You don’t have too eating many bowls of cabbage soup to be put off for life. One or two dishes of the soup may be OK but you can bet your bottom dollar had it will be long before you are sick of it.
The latest diet trend may not be the best one for you? According to most experts, medical professionals and dieticians what you really need to use to cut back on your calorie intake and begin to burn more calories. That means following a sensible eating plan and doing some exercise. Isn’t that simple to understand?
Slowly slowly catch a monkey! You may only lose one or two pounds per week but at least you will be fit and healthy. This approach may be less dramatic but at least it is more permanent. This calls for a total lifestyle alteration. Don’t think about following a diet trend because of this is more like a bubble that will pop at any moment. After this you find that all the weight you lost is now put back on.
Thankfully there are many sources on the Internet I will give sound advice rather than the latest dieting trend…
