<p>I have been looking for a way to lose weight and came across so many products, pills and programs out there.  This has become so overwhelming that now I suffered from information overload.  After almost 12 months of endless trial and failure and success, one thing I have learned over time is that the best way to lose weight is to take a walk in the park &#8220;CONSISTENTLY.&#8221;</p>

<p>We jumpÂ onto the dieting treadmill only to be thrown off again with ourÂ self image depleted and our energy drained, only to get back on the same treadmill and little way down the road, only to fail once again!</p>
<p>The fact is that many people who are only slightly overweight still desire to becomeÂ slim and trim and lose weight and improve their health. They tend to find the latest dieting trend and go along with it. Commit yourself to further research before you embark on the next diet trend. There&#8217;s no such thing as too much information. Don&#8217;t forget that what is at stake is your health, your well-being and your state of mind and the settings are important and vital.</p>

According to most experts, medical professionals and dieticians what you really need to use to cut back on your calorie intake and begin to burn more calories. That means following a sensible eating plan and doing some exercise. Isn&#8217;t that simple to understand?</p>
<p>Slowly slowly catch a monkey! You may only lose one or two pounds per week but at least you will be fit and healthy. This approach may be less dramatic but at least it is more permanent. <p>One other incentive that might help the individual in achieving their goals is to provide rewards. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you&#8217;re in the midsts of reaching your weight loss goals, it may seem that the scale can be a fleeting and tricky little took to measure your weight loss. Sure, the scale ultimately will help you reach your goals, but on the journey towards you goals if can be frustrating to monitor the scale on a day to day basis.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s wrong with the scale? For starters, it isn&#8217;t always accurate. Overall, the scale will show you weight loss, but its better to only weigh-in once a week or once a month. Water weight, fluctuations, salty foods, PMS, and ever exercise can make the scale go up. This isn&#8217;t weight, but when you&#8217;re looking for weight loss, seeing a bump up on the scale can really make us throw our arms up and want to give up.</p>
<p>Something that I like to do, which make seem silly is to use a pair of pants that don&#8217;t fit as a gauge. You know those pants that won&#8217;t go up past your thighs? Perfect for this! If you&#8217;re lucky enough not to hang on to too-small clothing, consider going to a thrift stop or discount store and buying a pair of pants one to two sizes to small. Try them on and photograph each week where that are sitting. As you begin to lose weight, the pants will start fitting more and more each week; show you visually that your hard work is paying off!</p>
<p>Keeping a log of measurements is also super helpful to keep track of weight loss. Be sure to measure accurately on each body part, and don&#8217;t leave anything out! Measure your waist, hips, bust, wrists, neck, upper arms, thighs, calves and even ankles. Keep this in a &#8220;fitness folder&#8221; so that you can watch your numbers go down. I recommend doing this every two weeks.</p>
<p>Finally, take pictures! I can&#8217;t tell you how many of my clients end up losing a lot of weight and never really &#8220;seeing&#8221; it. Keeping a photographic log of weight loss will not only show you how far you&#8217;ve come, but keep you motivated for the weeks to come not to give up!</p>
