The strategy is that you take at least ten thousand steps each day (walking) and that will help you get very healthy and cut down on the time that is required for exercise. Walking is a excellent, low impact, physical exercise. How many times have you heard &#8220;even a walk around the block every day can save your life&#8221;? </p>
<p>Obviously, it won&#8217;t be easy to take ten thousand steps every single day. That&#8217;s lots of steps to take! The very good news is that you probably already take nearly all of those steps each day already and don&#8217;t know it yet. All you need to do is figure out how to add in a couple or few thousand more steps to achieve this goal. So how do you accomplish that without feeling like you&#8217;re spending half of your time walking around? </p>
<p>There are a lot of obvious things you can apply to take more steps. One classic example of this is climbing the stairs instead of taking an elevator or escalator. Parking at the far end of the parking lot is also a good idea at the mall or the store. To further this idea, you could also stay parked in a single spot and walk your shopping bags out to the car as you accumulate them-instead of carting them all over the shopping center as you run your errands. Using public transportation is great for increasing your step count since you have to walk to the bus stop and back instead of just to and from the car. Obviously, just taking a short walk each day is also a good idea.</p>
<p>Some less obvious ways to increase your step count are also available. Organize a grocery shopping list differently. Lots of people organize their lists according to the aisles in their stores. You could choose to order your list according to category like meat, product and dairy. Simply shop down the list from here. Sure you may wind up running back and forth through the store nonetheless it truly is great for taking a lot more steps every day.
